Certificate Distribution Programme: Asansol, April 2026

Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol

A Certificate Distribution Programme was organised on 30 April 2026 at the ITI Conference Hall of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, to mark the successful completion of two vocational training courses conducted under the Ashrama’s skill development initiative for the financial year 2025–2026.

A total of 56 students, enrolled in the courses on Maintenance of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and Tailoring, were presented with Certificates of Achievement upon the conclusion of their six-month training. Both programmes have been conducted over several consecutive years in partnership with Steel Authority of India Limited – Indian Iron and Steel Company (SAIL-ISP), Burnpur, under the latter’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mandate. In keeping with the Ashrama’s commitment to service, no tuition fees are charged to any of the enrolled students.

The programme was graced by senior officials of SAIL-ISP, Burnpur, who served as honoured guests. Those present included Sri U. P. Singh, Executive Director (Human Resources); Sri Vijender Veer, Chief General Manager (Technical Services & CSR); and Sri Pawan Kumar Singh, Assistant General Manager (Technical Services & CSR), along with other officials of IISCO. The distinguished guests addressed the gathering with words of encouragement and motivation for the graduating students, and personally presented the certificates to each recipient.

The programme reflects the sustained commitment of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, to the cause of vocational empowerment and livelihood support for underprivileged sections of society, in the spirit of selfless service (seva) as taught by Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda.
