Consecration of New Temple of Sri Ramakrishna : Coimbatore Mission


A new temple of Sri Ramakrishna in Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore was dedicated by Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission on 16 January 2024, on the sacred Titipuja day of Srimat Swami Saradanandaji Maharaj.

A 3-day programme, from January 15 to 17,  consists of Nama Sankirtanam, Bhajans, Chandi Homam, Cultural Programmes, Speeches by monks of our Order and other eminent persons and Yati Puja was organized on this auspicious occasion.  Around 320 monks of our order & other sampradayas and  11000 devotees participated in this function among which 1300 were hosted in campus.

The whole Ceremony commenced with the hoisting of Vidyalaya Flag followed by ‘Pongal Celebration’ and concluded with Palanquin Utsav, where the photo of Sri Ramakrishna was carried in Palanquin followed by a long procession of monks, devotees and staff singing Bhajans.
