COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services by Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, Haridwar

In continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic relief services Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, Haridwar distributed food materials to 4700 families staying in slums in and within 20 km of Haridwar on 03 May 2020.

In the wake of lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, Haridwar started relief services.

On 20 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 105 families in Bangla Basti near Pherupur, 10 kms from Haridwar.

The Ashrama distributed food kits consisting  5kg of rice, 5kg potato, 2kg Dal, 1kg oil, 100 gms red chilli powder, 1 kg salt, 2 bath soaps, 200 gm Haldi to 400 families from 9 to 14 April 2020

The Ashrama provided 200 Kgs of rice, 150 kg Dal, 45 Kilo of refined Oil, 2 bags of potato and One bag of Tomato to the IRB2 ( Indian Reserve Police Battalion, Haridwar ) through the commanding officer. The IRB2 runs a community kitchen.

The Ashrama has distributed Face masks and distributed COVID – 19 awareness pamphlets.
