Covid Relief and Tauktae Cyclone Relief


Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot started the Covid Relief in May 2021 and has distributed 191 Ration kits among poor families of Rajkot, 185 Ration kits among poor families of Ahmedabad, 81 ration kits among poor families of Somnath and 27 ration kits among poor families of Junagadh in the month of May 2021 containing following items- Rice, Dal, Flour, Edible oil, Sugar, Tea powder, Assorted spices, Salt, etc. (Total kits distributed: 484 kits)

About 40 patients are given full meals and fruits to Corona patients of a hospital in Kim (Dist. Surat) from 1 May 2021; 2490 dishes have been served free of cost till 31st May 2021.

1800 N-95 masks were distributed among the Police staff of Rajkot. Shri Manoharsinh Jadeja, Dy. Commissioner of Police Rajkot received the masks on behalf of Police department on 01 May 2021.

90 Steam Inhalers were distributed among needy patients.

28 Oxygen concentrators have been so far lent to the use of needy patients free of cost.

19 Oxymeters have been so far lent to the needy patients free of cost.

600 medical kits have been so far distributed in the village Bidada and nearby villages of Mandavi taluka.

1,00,000 copies of the book “Shaktidayi Vichar” (Translation of the book ‘Thoughts of Power’) by Swami Vivekananda have been printed for distribution free of cost among corona warriors and corona patients for boosting up their morale and to provide mental relief. So far 19,000 copies have been distributed among corona warriors of Civil Hospital, Rajkot Municipal Corporation and Ayurvedic University, Jamnagar.


As a part of Tauktae cyclone relief services, Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot distributed 500 food packets among poor families of Rajkot on 18th May 2021 and 187  Ration kits among poor families of Rajula (Dist. Bhavanagar) on 26 May 2021 containing following items – Rice, Dal, Flour, Edible oil, Sugar, Tea powder, Assorted spices, Salt, Bar soap etc.
