Cultural and Literary Competitions: Rajkot, December 2022

On the occasion of the 161st birthday of Swami Vivekananda and to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot conducted competitions from 7 December 2022 to 25 December 2022. There were five types of competition, viz., Recitation (Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit and English), Chorus Bhajan singing, Traditional Dress depicting our gods, sages, saints and freedom fighters, Elocution (Gujarati, Hindi and English) and drawing. 8124 students of 177 schools from class 1 to Class 12 participated in these competitions. All participating students were served snacks and given the books “Yashasvi Vidyarthi Jivan and Swami Vivekananda’ and accompanying parents were given the book ‘Divya Kripa’. Winners will be given mementoes, certificates etc. during the function to be organised in the month of January 2023.
