As part of the Annual Celebration held on 6th and 7th March 2026, the Ramakrishna Mission, Limbdi, organized a half-day Devotees’ Convention on the concluding day. The event followed a series of spiritual discourses on the Shrimad Bhagavat delivered by Swami Guneshanandaji Maharaj (Publication In-charge, Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot).
Convention Highlights
The convention was marked by a deeply spiritual atmosphere and included several devotional activities:
- Inaugural Sessions: The programme commenced with Vedic chanting and soul-stirring Bhajans.
- Spiritual Rituals: Devotees participated in the Shri Ramakrishna Ashthottara Satanamavali and offered arghya to Bhagavan Shri Ramakrishna.
- Readings: Participants engaged in the reading of the lives and teachings of the Holy Trio (Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda).
Distinguished Speakers and Performers
The convention was graced by the presence of revered monks from the Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot:
- Key Speakers: Swami Guneshanandaji Maharaj, Swami Medhajanandaji Maharaj, and Swami Vijayeshanandaji Maharaj delivered inspiring discourses to the gathering.
- Devotional Music: Swami Shankareshanandaji performed devotional songs that further elevated the spiritual mood of the retreat.
Participation
The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of 225 devotees. The programme concluded at 12:30 PM, after which Prasad was distributed to all attendees.
