Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Malda, conducted several Distress Relief activities during May 2025. As part of the regular weekly programme held every Sunday at the Ashrama campus, essential food items—25 kg of rice and 50 kg of potatoes—were distributed on 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th May. The number of beneficiaries on these dates were 81, 75, 79, and 84 respectively, benefiting a total of 319 individuals.
In addition to this, on 5th May 2025, a special relief programme was conducted for needy individuals from various villages in Malda District. A total of 500 beneficiaries received one woolen chadar each. The distribution took place at both the Ashrama premises and Madia Village, providing much-needed comfort and support to the recipients.
