Distress Relief: Vadodara, February 2026

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara

Throughout February 2026, Ramakrishna Math, Vadodara, carried out extensive relief operations across various districts, providing essential nutritional and hygiene support to needy and visually impaired families.


1. Relief Distribution – Bhuj (February 1, 2026)

The monthly service began in Bhuj, where 40 needy families received comprehensive ration kits.

  • Items per Kit: Wheat Flour (6 kg), Rice (2 kg), Mung Fada (1 kg), Pulses (1 kg), Cooking Oil (1 kg), Sugar (1 kg), and Tea Powder (250g).

2. Relief Distribution – Adipur (February 9, 2026)

The second phase of the relief drive took place in Adipur, benefiting 20 needy families with a diverse range of grocery and hygiene items.

  • Items per Kit: Wheat Flour (4 kg), Rice (3 kg), Pulses (1 kg), Cooking Oil (500 ml), Salt (1 kg), Sugar (1 kg), Tea Powder (250g), Spices (Turmeric, Chili, Mustard – 100g each), and 1 Bath Soap (100g).

3. Relief for Blind Families – Vadodara & Anand (February 16, 2026)

Focusing on the visually impaired, the Math distributed specialized kits to 25 blind families (20 at the Ashrama and 5 in the Anand/Kheda district).

  • Items per Kit: Wheat Flour (10 kg), Rice (3 kg), Pulses (1.5 kg), Cooking Oil (1 kg), Salt (1 kg), Sugar (1 kg), Tea Powder (250g), and Spices (Turmeric, Chili – 100g each).
