Ramakrishna Math, Bagda, continued its service-oriented activities by conducting Distress Relief and Winter Relief programmes for the poor and needy residents of Purulia and the surrounding areas.
1. Distress Relief (22–28 September 2025)
During this period, essential clothing items were distributed to support economically weaker families in Purulia and nearby villages. The distribution included:
- 530 sarees
- 300 lungis
- 180 children’s garments
This initiative helped alleviate the hardships faced by underprivileged households and provided much-needed relief.
2. Winter Relief (28 December 2025 – 7 January 2026)
To help vulnerable individuals cope with the severe winter conditions, the Math carried out a Winter Relief programme across Purulia district surroundings. The following items were distributed:
- 560 blankets
- 156 pairs of socks
These items ensured warmth and comfort for the beneficiaries during the cold season.
