In keeping with its motto, “Atmano mokshartham jagat hitaya cha” (For one’s own salvation and for the welfare of the world), the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Bankura, conducted a comprehensive winter relief drive during the month of December 2025. This initiative aimed to provide warmth and dignity to the underprivileged sections of society during the peak of the winter season.
Distribution Details
A total of 797 blankets and 217 jackets were distributed to the poor and needy. The relief materials were meticulously allocated across various villages and remote locations to ensure the most vulnerable populations were reached.
Areas Covered
The distribution drive primarily focused on the Bankura District, with a specific extension into the Jhargram District. The specific locations served include:
| District | Covered Villages/Locations |
| Bankura | Bhadul, Baramasiya, Uparbandh, Nakaijuri, Susunia, Burkundathol, Margraun, Gouripur, Shankarhati, Kalpathar (Nabagram), Gorabari, and Aina (Taldangra). |

Impact and Conclusion
