Ramakrishna Math, Ahmedabad, through its rural campus at Village Lekhamba, Sanand Taluka, undertook a welfare initiative for the benefit of primary school children residing in the surrounding villages of Ahmedabad district.
On 14th and 15th June 2026, notebooks were distributed among students of five primary schools situated in the villages of Lekhamba, Kheecha, Phangadi, and Popatpura, as well as the D.G. School, Sanand. A total of 10,678 notebooks were distributed, benefiting 1,534 students across the five villages covered under the programme.
Subsequently, on 19th June 2026, educational kits were distributed to orphan students of the primary schools of Sanand Taluka. A total of 150 kits were provided on this occasion. Each kit comprised the following items:
- School Bag – 1 piece
- Water Bottle – 1 piece
- Tiffin Box – 1 piece
- Full-Scape Notebooks – 12 pieces
- Small Notebooks – 3 pieces
- Pen/Pencil Box – 1 piece
- Geometry Box – 1 piece
- Colour Sketch Pen Set – 1 set
- Snack Packet – 1 piece
Meals were also served to all orphan students on the occasion of the kit distribution.
