Covid-19 Relief Services by Ramakrishna Mission, Malda

Ramkrishna Mission Malda organised a vaccination camp at the Ashram premises, with due support from the district authorities of Malda. The first Covid-19 vaccination camp was organised on 9 April 2021.
The number of persons inoculated is follows:
Covishield, 2nd dose: 210 persons.
Covishield, 1st dose:  17 persons.

Ramakrishna Mission, Malda, is continuing the Covid relief services.

19 June 2021: The Malda Ashrama distributed grocery kits to 81 families in Purba Kamalpur, Ratua, Malda, most of whom are working in the mango garden.

Items in each kit – Rice 5 kg, Dal 500 gm, Soyachunk 500 gm, Cooking Oil 400 gm, Salt 1kg,  Soap 1, Masks 3.

18 June 2021: The Malda Ashrama distributed grocery kits to 104 families of Venue- Pashbari village, Baghbari, Malda- Tribal village.

On 11 June 2021, the Malda ashrama distributed grocery kits, sari, lungi, mosquito curtains in 3 villages of Kalaibari area of Malda: Tentulpara village-73 families, Haluipara village-33 families, Gangasagar village-35 families

For each family:
Each kit containing 5Kg rice, 500gm dal, 500gm soyachunk, 200ml of cooking oil, 1Kg salt, 1 soap, 3 masks, and one packet consisting of 1 sari, 1 lungi, 1 mosquito curtain.

Ramakrishna Mission, Malda is distributing food packets to the needy, primarily the family members of COVID patients at their respective homes and also at the Malda Medical College premises every day, from 7 – 8 pm. The Ashrama is also providing oxygen cylinders to home-isolated patients.

13 May ’21: Oxygen cylinders were provided to three COVID patients.

The Ashrama is providing telemedicine service from 10 May 2021.

01 May ’21: The Ashrama distributed Food packets and loose items: Rice, daal, Soyabean curry, Chutney, Condiment. Fifty families, affected by Corona in Malda town, were served with the packets.
