COVID-19 Relief Services in June 2021 

16 June 2021: Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli distributed 90 food kits to the physically challenged in kallabalu panchayat.

08 June 2021: Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli distributed 150 medicine kits for Covid positive patients in a nearby covid care centre in Jigani.

06 June 2021:  The Shivanahalli centre distributed 48 grocery kits in a remote isolated village named ‘Choodahalli’ amidst Bannerghatta National Park. The number was alarming as they are all widows. Out of 155 families, 48 are widows for reasons unknown. The village still doesn’t have a good accessible road and is always in news due to elephant-human conflict. It lies in the Karnataka-Tamilnadu forest borders.

05 June 2021:  Shivanahalli Ashrama distributed 1500 masks to the staff members of the Karnataka Forest Department and Bannerghatta National Park.

03 June 2021: Shivanahalli ashrama distributed 85 grocery kits to widows, physically challenged persons and home maids in Bannerghatta, many are jobless due to the lockdown.

02 June 2021: Shivanahalli ashrama visited Timmayana doddi, a Iruliga tribal hamlet in the nearby panchayat. 25 tribal families stay in the hamlet. They were not aware of the ill effects of covid and discouraged the visit of health workers and officials. The centre created awareness among them about the virus, COVID testing and vaccination.

COVID-19 Relief Services in May 2021

31 May 2021: Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli distributed 90 grocery kits in two panchayats on the Karnataka-Tamilnadu Border.

30 May 2021: The centre distributed 250 grocery kits to the people identified by Matapa Panchayat. The beneficiaries include 100 Widows, 25 Handicapped, 25 street artists and 100 daily wage labourers.

29 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 90 grocery kits in the nearby panchayat to the cremation workers.

28 May 2021: The  Ashrama distributed 15 grocery kits in Bannerghatta.

27 May 2021:The Ashrama distributed 200 grocery kits in the nearby panchayat.

26 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 250 grocery kits in the Taluk headquarters along with Anekal Police to all the warriors. Anekal has seen considerable deaths due to the second wave.

23 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed grocery kits to 300 anganwadi workers and their helpers in Attibele and Sarjapur hobli .

22 May 2021:  The Ashrama is providing medicines to home isolation patients spanning an area of 6 Panchayats in and around the centre. The centre distributed 100 medicine kits.

20 May 2021:  The Ashrama distributed 250 grocery kits in Bannerghatta. (100 daily wage labourers, 25 physically-challenged people, 50 Roadside vendors, 50 Asha and health workers and 25 Aged people.) The Ashrama also presented the Holy Trio photo and a small book with sayings of Swamiji to all.

19 May 2021:  The Ashrama distributed 60 grocery kits to all the labourers in the nearby Oxygen plant which supplies oxygen cylinders to the entire Bangalore. A refilling of 50 mt every day. TheAshrama also distributed grocery kits to 10 highway patrol people and 15 home guards who work in the state borders.

18 May 2021:  The Ashrama distributed 160 ration kits to frontline workers including electricity board workers this time.

17 May 2021:  The Ashrama distributed 140 ration kits to  Anganwadi workers.

16 May 2021:  The Ashrama distributed 15 medicine kits for mild covid positive home isolation patients.

15 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 90 grocery kits to the pourakarmikas in Jigani Hobli.

14 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 50 grocery kits and masks to the needy families of Kateridoddi, a tribal hamlet.

13 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 50 grocery kits and masks to the Oxygen Plant workers in the Jigani police circle.

12 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 50 grocery kits and masks to ASHA health workers of Jigani police circle.

6 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 15 Covid-19 medicine kits for mild positive patients who are under home isolation in Ragihalli Panchayat.

4 May 2021: The Ashrama distributed 73 grocery kits, vegetables and masks. This was undertaken for the Sollepura Iruliga Tribal Hamlet. The Ashrama also created awareness among the people about covid-19.
