Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jhargram organised district-level school cultural competitions for the fifth consecutive year as part of its Universal Brotherhood Day commemorations, covering all 8 blocks and 1 municipality area of the Jhargram district. The competitions were held at 33 venues across the district from 18 August to 8 September 2026.
The following competitions were conducted:

A total of 1,846 students from 126 schools participated, of whom 717 were boys and 1,129 were girls. The category-wise details are as follows:

All participants were presented with participation certificates and a book on Swami Vivekananda.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at the Maa Sarada Sabhangan, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jhargram, on 11 September 2026. Swami Kritarthananda, a senior monk from Belur Math; Swami Krishnanathananda, Editor, Udbodhan Patrika; Sri Tarun Goswami, Consulting Editor, The Statesman; and other dignitaries distributed prizes to the winners. A total of 36 students from 17 schools secured positions in the competitions.
