Some miscreants set fire to 40 houses in Majhipara village of Pirganj police station in Rangpur district, Bangladesh and looted 40 more houses, including cows and goats, during and after Sri Sri Durga Puja. With the financial support of Vivekananda Study and Philanthropic Center New York, USA, from 20-10-2021, Ramakrishna Mission, Rangpur distributed a total of 600 kg of rice, 150 kg of pulses, 150 kg of soybean oil, 150 kg of salt, 150 kg of salt, 300 kg of potatoes, 150 kg of sugar, 150 kg of muri, 150 kg of chira, 50 saris, 50 lungis, 50 pots, 50 pots, 50 plates, and 50 glasses to 150 families.
