The Brahmanandodayam Sanskrit Upper Primary School, managed by Sri Ramakrishna Advaita Ashram, Kalady, held a successful awareness program on June 28th, 2024. The event, attended by over 200 parents, focused on educating them about the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on students and families.
Focus on Drug Abuse Prevention:
- Sri Sidheek C.A., a Preventive Officer, led the session.
- He provided parents with valuable information and raised awareness about the critical issue of drug abuse.
- The program emphasized the crucial role parents play in protecting their children from these harmful substances.
Celebrating Academic Excellence:
- Six outstanding students from class VII were also felicitated during the program for receiving the USS Scholarships for the academic year 2023-24.
- The scholarship winners are: Charulata M.S., Adilaksmi Biju, Adikesav K.U., Aryan S. Suraj, Neerada Venmani, and Vaishnav P. Hari.
Swami Srividyananda’s Address:
- Swami Srividyananda, the School Manager, delivered the presidential address.
- He urged parents to stay vigilant against drug abuse and work collaboratively with the school in providing a well-rounded education for their children.
- He also congratulated the scholarship winners and praised the dedication of the school’s teachers who contributed to their success in the Angamaly sub-district’s USS scholarship examinations.
