In an effort to provide essential vision care to the local community, Ramakrishna Math, Nattarampalli, organized a comprehensive eye camp. The initiative focused on identifying refractive errors and providing surgical interventions for those suffering from vision impairment.
Medical Outcomes
The camp facilitated high-quality screening and post-diagnostic care for a significant number of beneficiaries:
- Patient Screenings: A total of 242 patients underwent professional eye examinations.
- Surgical Interventions: Following the screenings, 93 patients were identified with cataracts and successfully underwent surgery at a specialized eye hospital.
- Vision Correction: To improve daily functionality and sight, 59 patients were provided with prescription spectacles free of cost.
