Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math visited Ramakrishna Saradashrama, Ponnampet, Karnataka, from 16th to 18th September 2025. During his stay, Revered Maharaj laid the foundation stone for the proposed New Sevashrama Hospital Building and renovation of the old hospital building on the auspicious occasion of Viswakarma Puja (17 September 2025).
He also inaugurated the new Diesel Generator Power Plant, R.O. Water Plant, and Ultrasound Scanning Machine. During the Youth Convention, Swami Suhitanandaji delivered a benedictory public address, attended by 22 monastics and about 500 devotees, including students of the College of Forestry and Coorg Institute of Technology.
The event featured addresses by leading monks of Ramakrishna Order and began with bhajans. Swami Parahitananda welcomed the gathering, Most Revered Swami Suhitanandaji presided, and Swami Yogishananda offered the vote of thanks. Prasada lunch was served to all attendees, marking a memorable and blessed occasion for the Saradashrama and the local community.
