The foundation was laid for Gadadhar Mandap at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kanpur, on 6 March 2021, by Swami Nityasthananda ji Maharaj, the Adhyaksha Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere. The foundation was laid amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and Arati to the Holy Trio. The new construction will consist of a classroom, a storeroom and washrooms for students studying in Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
