Free Urology & General Surgery Camp: Vrindavan

Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindavan

The second Bi-Annual Free Urology & General Surgery Camp for the year was successfully conducted by the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindavan, from 12th to 18th November 2025. The camp was made possible with the generous support of Manav Seva Sansthan, Mumbai.

The primary objective of providing specialized surgical and screening services free of cost was achieved, with a total of 358 patients screened in the OPD and 100 patients undergoing free surgeries.

Medical Team and Leadership

The surgical team comprised 11 visiting specialists from various locations (Mumbai, Pune, Nanded, Bareilly, etc.) and 8 specialists from our own hospital, actively participating in patient screening and surgery.

The camp was conducted under the expert leadership of:

  • Dr. (Prof.) Harshad Punjani
  • Dr. Balachandra Kashyapi

Scope of Surgeries Conducted

A wide range of complex urology and general surgeries were successfully performed during the camp, including:

  • Urology: TURP, PCNL, Cystoscopy, VIU, Urethroplasty, Hypospadias, Circumcision, Eversion of Sac.
  • General Surgery: Hernioplasty, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Lumpectomy.

Future Schedule

The next Free Urology and General Surgical Camp is tentatively scheduled to be held during March / April 2026. This future camp will be conducted by the same dedicated team of specialists in our Charitable Hospital, once again by the courtesy of Manav Seva Sansthan, Mumbai.
