The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Durban, South Africa, continued its ongoing humanitarian service to indigent families during August 2026, extending relief across the Durban, Chatsworth, Ladysmith, and Newcastle areas through its network of sub-centres.

During the month, a total of 173 food and essential hampers, 300 plates of cooked meals, and 50 sandwiches were distributed to families in need. The relief operations encompassed the provision of essential foodstuffs, hygiene materials, clothing, and household items, reflecting the Centre’s sustained commitment to the alleviation of suffering among vulnerable communities.
