Inauguration of DGR Resettlement Training Course: Morabadi, Ranchi, July 2026

A 60-day Skill Development Training Programme for ex-servicemen was inaugurated on 31 July 2026 at the Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Ranchi-Morabadi. The programme runs from 27 July to 25 September 2026 and covers mushroom cultivation, bio-inputs, and bee-keeping.

The ceremony was presided over by Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary, and Swami Antarananda, Joint Secretary, of the Ashrama. Chief guests were Colonel S. P. Gupta (Retd.), Deputy Director, Directorate of Sainik Welfare, and Shri Rajiv Ranjan, former Advocate General, Jharkhand High Court. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp and Vedic chanting.

Speakers encouraged the 44 ex-servicemen trainees to become self-reliant in agriculture and serve as role models in their villages after retirement. Each trainee received a copy of Swami Vivekananda’s Naya Bharat Gadho, millet-based products, and a jute bag.

The vote of thanks was offered by Swami Antarananda, Joint Secretary.
