On the auspicious occasion of Phalaharini Kali Puja, 16 May 2026, the Most Revered President Maharaj of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji, inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Ma Sarada Bhavan’ (Yatri Nivas). The sanctifying ceremony took place in the holy presence of Swami Suhitananda ji, Swami Girishananda ji, Swami Vimalatmananda ji, along with numerous monks and devotees.

Sprawling over forty acres on the western bank of the Hooghly (Ganga) river, Belur Math is a global pilgrimage center renowned for its architectural grandeur, serene atmosphere, and spiritual heritage. It draws thousands of seekers daily, with footfall crossing a hundred thousand during major festivals like Durga Puja and the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trinity. To meet the ever-growing demand for devotee accommodation, this modern six-storey guest house was constructed near the main entrance of the math, offering easy access to the shrines. Along with guest rooms, the facility features a spacious dining hall and a meeting hall. The foundation stone for this project was laid on 14 December 2022 by the late Revered Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj.
