On 28 November 2022, handing over ceremony of Ramakrishna Trust, Chengam to Belur Math and the Inauguration of a new branch of Ramakrishna Math in its place was celebrated in a very grand manner. The re-dedication of Sri Ramakrishna Temple (after 12 years) was also conducted along with the above-mentioned events.
Nearly 3000 people gathered to witness these holy events. Revered Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj presided over the functions.
A total of 66 monastics, including 52 monks of our order (including heads of centres), 6 private Monks and 8 nuns-sanyasinis from private ashrams participated in this grand event.
On 27 November 2022 cultural events with our school students were organized from 4.30 pm to 8.00 pm. Around 2000 devotees and 1000 parents witnessed the cultural events.
Cooked food was served to all the devotees from 27 November 2022. Breakfast, lunch prasad, and night dinner prasad were given to all the devotees on 28 November 2022 also.
Most Revered Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj presided over the meetings and gave benedictory addresses both in the morning and also in the evening. Most of the Heads of centres of Tamil Nadu rendered speeches in the evening public meeting.
