On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Abhedananda, a 33/0.415 kV Sub-Station and Vivekananda Bhawan-II (Staff Quarters) were consecrated and inaugurated at Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, on 4 October 2026. The consecration and inauguration were performed by Srimat Swami Suhitananda ji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, and Shri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
Shri Mama Natung, Hon’ble Minister of Home and Inter-State Border Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, was present, along with Swami Achyuteshananda ji, Trustee, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, and Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
Programme
The dignitaries were received at the 33/0.415 kV Sub-Station, where its consecration and inauguration took place. The consecration and inauguration of Vivekananda Bhawan-II (Staff Quarters) followed. The dignitaries then proceeded to the Hospital Seminar Hall, where the formal meeting was held.

Tokens of Appreciation were presented to selected doctors, staff members and wards for their service to the Hospital. The Chief Guest, Shri Pema Khandu, noted the improvement in the services of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, and assured the continued support of the State Government for the Hospital’s future projects and developmental initiatives. In the benedictory address, Srimat Swami Suhitananda ji Maharaj appreciated the efforts towards the development of the Hospital and its service activities.
The programme concluded with the distribution of lunch. Approximately 150 persons, comprising Government officials, doctors, staff members and devotees, attended.
