Purpose and Scope of the Premananda Bhavan
The newly inaugurated facility, named after Swami Premanandaji Maharaj, one of the foremost direct disciples of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna, is designed to serve primarily as a Vivekananda Computer Centre and Digital Resource Room.
The main objective of this facility is to provide crucial opportunities for computer education, digital literacy, and academic support to poor and needy students, hostel residents, and other underprivileged learners of the surrounding areas.
Furthermore, responding to requests from nearby colleges and schools, the Computer Centre will be utilized during morning hours (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) as a Digital Resource Room or Digital Library. This initiative offers access to e-learning materials and competitive examination resources, helping deserving students prepare for their future with confidence and discipline, in line with Swami Vivekananda’s vision of “man-making and character-building education.”
In addition to its primary function, the building will also be used for occasional scriptural study classes, devotee gatherings, retreats, and other service-oriented programmes, thereby making it a true centre of learning and spiritual upliftment.

Following the inauguration, a meeting was arranged for the devotees:
