देवि प्रपन्नार्तिहरे प्रसीद, प्रसीद मातर्जगतोऽखिलस्य ।
प्रसीद विश्वेश्वरि पाहि विश्वं, त्वमीश्वरी देवि चराचरस्य ॥ १ ॥

O Goddess, who destroys the suffering of those who seek refuge, be gracious; O Mother of the entire universe, be gracious; O Goddess, O Ruler of the universe (Vishveshwari), be gracious and protect the world, for you are the sovereign ruler (Ishwari) of the entire animate and inanimate world.

হে দেবী, হে শরণাগতের দুঃখবিনাশিনী, তুমি প্রসন্না হও ; হে অখিল বিশ্বের জননী, তুমি প্রসন্না হও; হে দেবী, হে বিশ্বেশ্বরী, প্রসন্ন হইয়া জগৎ পালন কর, কেন না তুমিই চরাচর জগতের ঈশ্বরী।
