In observance of National Youth Day 2026, Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, in collaboration with Brahmanandodayam Schools, organized a series of Inter-School and Inter-Collegiate Youth Competitions on January 8th and 9th. The event, which drew participants from Kalady and the surrounding regions, was inaugurated by Swami Srividyananda, Adhyaksha. The inaugural session featured a welcome address by Smt. Suma Devi (HM, Brahmanandodayam Sanskrit UPS), a keynote address by Sri Jayakumar K. (HM, Brahmanandodayam HS), and a vote of thanks by Sri Sujith (Teacher, Brahmanandodayam HSS).
Students showcased their talents in various disciplines, including elocution (tri-lingual: Malayalam, Sanskrit, and English), quiz, drawing, painting, and storytelling based on the life of Swami Vivekananda. The winners will be honored with cash prizes and certificates during a public function on January 12th, 2026, at the Swami Agamananda Open Auditorium.
