Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda organized a Maternity and Child Welfare Services Programme on 29 December 2025 with the support of the Infosys Foundation. A total of 36 antenatal and postnatal mothers and 26 children (up to 3 years of age) were benefitted through this service activity.
The programme included general health check-ups conducted by qualified doctors. Essential medicines and a variety of nutritional food supplements such as soya chunks, moong dal, masur dal, rajma, flattened rice, chhatu, iodized salt, green chutney, and Cerelac Stage 1 were distributed. Additionally, bath soap, olive oil, and cold cream were provided to support hygiene and maternal care.
Counselling sessions were also arranged to educate mothers on nutrition, maternal wellbeing, and proper pre- and postnatal care. The programme was well received and proved beneficial to the rural community.
