On 05 March 2026, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Midnapore, conducted a specialized medical camp focused on maternity and child welfare. This project, generously supported by the INFOSYS Foundation through Belur Math, aimed to provide essential healthcare services and nutritional support to families in the Benapur area.
Beneficiary Summary
The camp served a total of 139 beneficiaries, consisting of 23 women and 116 children. The participant demographics reflect the center’s commitment to reaching diverse community segments:
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 44
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 47
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 16
- General (GEN): 32

Healthcare and Distribution
Each of the 139 families received necessary medical treatment and maternity/child care kits. Furthermore, to address nutritional requirements, the following items were distributed to the beneficiaries:
- Complan (500gm): 1 piece per beneficiary
- ORS Liquid: 1 piece per beneficiary
- Protein Powder (200gm): 1 piece per beneficiary
The project continues to play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of the local community.
