Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, successfully organized the 7th medical camp under its dedicated “Maternity and Child Welfare Services” Project on Saturday, November 15, 2025. This initiative is a vital effort implemented with the financial assistance of Infosys Foundation and strong infrastructural, professional, and human resource support from the Nabadwip Municipality.
Location and Area Covered
The camp was held at Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy Suswastha Kendra, Prachin Mayapur South. The services were targeted at vulnerable families residing in Municipal Ward Nos. 7 & 8 under the jurisdiction of Nabadwip Municipality, ensuring healthcare access to this specific demographic.

Services, Support, and Impact
The camp delivered a comprehensive package of medical consultation, material aid, and awareness sessions, reflecting a holistic approach to maternal and pediatric health:
- Medical Consultations: Doctors provided free consultation, necessary medicines, and essential food supplements, including Vitamins, Calcium, and Folic Acid, to 35 patients, comprising both children and mothers.
- Maternal Support: 27 pregnant mothers were specifically identified and offered crucial ration kits containing essentials for mother and child care.
- Health Awareness: An important awareness session was organized focusing on general health and hygiene practices tailored specifically for pregnant mothers, emphasizing preventative care and nutritional importance.
The successful organization of this 7th camp underscores the ongoing commitment of Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, and its partners to improving health outcomes and reducing the burden of disease among mothers and young children in the region.
