International Nurses’ Day:

To celebrate International Nurses’ Day, Vivekananda Polyclinic & Institute of Medical Sciences (VPIMS) in Lucknow organized a special function on Sunday, May 12th, 2024. The event aimed to recognize and appreciate the vital role that nurses play in healthcare.

CME Workshop on Emergency Trauma Care:

On the occasion of World Emergency Day, VPIMS’s Department of Emergency Medicine partnered with the Society of Acute Care, Trauma & Emergency Medicine (SACTEM) to host a CME (Continuing Medical Education) workshop on Emergency Trauma Care. Held on Monday, May 27th, 2024, this workshop aimed to provide healthcare professionals with the latest knowledge and skills in managing emergency trauma situations.

The workshop likely included lectures by specialists in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, and other relevant fields. World No Tobacco Day Workshop:

As part of World No Tobacco Day 2024, VPIMS in Lucknow organized a workshop to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use. Held on May 31st, 2024, the workshop specifically targeted cancer survivors, their attendants, and the general public.
