An integrated programme under the title MSS (Meditation–Swadhyay–Seva) was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani on 18 September 2026, in association with the Department of NSS, Kalyani University and Vir Sidhu Kanu Nagar High School. A total of 47 students — boys and girls — participated in the programme.
The programme commenced at 9.00 a.m. with the chanting of the Pranam Mantra of the Holy Trio at the Vivekananda Auditorium within the Ashrama premises. The Secretary of the Ashrama then discussed and demonstrated the process of meditation for the benefit of the participants.
This was followed by a session on the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Address of 1893, conducted in the presence of a faculty member from the Department of Physical Education, Kalyani University.
As part of the Seva component of the programme, a cleanliness drive was undertaken across the Ashrama campus by all participating students. The programme concluded at approximately 12.00 noon, after which all participants received noon prasad at the Ashrama.
