Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan celebrated National Youth Day on Saturday, January 11, 2025. (January 12th, being a Sunday, was a weekly off-day for the Pratishthan.) The celebration was held in the usual manner with a diverse program.
Swami Prabhasanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Barisha, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Arijit Sarkar, Assistant Professor, MCKV Institute of Engineering, served as the Guest of Honor. Prof. Atul Kumar Gupta, Principal, RKMSP-VIMS, and Prof. Sanjoy Mohan Bhattacharjee, Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal, RKMSP, also graced the dais.
Nearly 350 individuals attended the program, including students from various courses, guests, donors, doctors, nurses, and other staff members. The program showcased a vibrant array of performances by the participants, encompassing songs, recitations, speeches, musical performances, dance, and drama. The program commenced at 12:00 noon and continued until 4:00 p.m.
Prasad was served to all attendees after the program.
