Ramakrishna Mission, Haflong, celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm on Sunday, January 12, 2025. A Youth Convention was oRamakrishna Mission, Haflong, celebrated the 42nd National Youth Day with great enthusiasm on Monday, 12 January 2026. A Youth Convention was organised on the occasion, in which nearly 200 students, teachers, devotees, guardians and admirers participated. The programme began at 9:30 a.m. and concluded at 3:00 p.m. All participating students received two books on Swami Vivekananda, and all attendees were served noon prasad.

1. Opening Ceremony
The celebration commenced with:
- Floral offering to Swami Vivekananda
- Flag hoisting
- Collective chanting of Swamiji’s Swadesh Mantra

3. Student Participation
- Elocution Competition:
21 students delivered speeches on Swamiji’s Chicago Address. - Depiction of Inspiring Incidents:
11 students portrayed memorable events from the life of Swami Vivekananda and spoke on his message.
All participating students received prizes for their efforts.
