Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Mutthiganj, Prayagraj celebrated the National Youth Day on 12 January 2021. This grand celebration commenced with lighting the lamp by Swami Akshayananada, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Prayagraj, along with Chief Guest Shri Shashikant Mishra, Ex. Principal, Ishwardeen Chhedilal Inter College, Jasra, Prayagraj and President of the function Dr. Shail Pandey, Ex. Prof. Hindi Dept., Allahabad University, Prayagraj.
A few youths made presentations about the significance of the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Swami Akshayananada ji delivered the welcome address. Sri Arpit Mishra, volunteer of the ashrama, recited Swadesh Mantra of Swami Vivekananda. The students of different schools placed their views on Swami Vivekananda. Chief Guest of the programme Shri Shashikant Mishra, Ex. Principal, Ishwardeen Chhedilal Inter College, Jasra, Prayagraj presented the valuable teachings collected from the glorious life of Swami Vivekananda. The programme concluded with the presidential address by Dr Shail Pandey, Ex. Prof. Hindi Dept. Shri Jaydeep Ganguli, Lecturer, Anglo Bengali Inter College, Prayagraj and Swami Karunananda gave the vote of thanks. The books on the life and teachings of Swamiji along with the food packets were distributed among all the listeners who were about 150 in total.
