The 2023-25 batch of NCC Cadets at Brahmanandodayam High School, Kalady, successfully completed their training, exemplifying unity, discipline, and obedience.
The passing out parade was graced by Sub. Maj. Hon. Lt. M.D. Ibrahim (Retd.), Former SM 22KBN NCC Eloor, Hav. Sivasankara Kurup T.G. (Retd.), Instructor, Army Education Corps, and Swami Srividyananda, School Manager. The ceremony included a floral tribute to the Kargil Warriors in honor of their valor and sacrifice.
Sri Jayakumar K., Headmaster of BHSS, Kalady, delivered the presidential address. In his benedictory speech, Swami Srividyananda commended the dedication of the school team and NCC officials. He encouraged students to remain steadfast in truth and perseverance, invoking Swami Vivekananda’s words:
“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life—think of it, dream of it, and live on that idea. Let your brain, muscles, nerves, and every part of your body be filled with that idea, and leave all other ideas aside. This is the way to success.”
The dignitaries shared motivational insights, inspiring the cadets to uphold the values of service and discipline. Sri Sajith N. J., PTA President, extended his best wishes, while Swami Srividyananda presented mementos as a token of appreciation.
The event also featured a cultural performance by students, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
Sri Rajith Sankar (ANO) welcomed the gathering, and Sri Vishnu V.V. delivered the vote of thanks, marking the successful conclusion of the event.
