Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi, successfully organized a series of sports tournaments in several villages across Khunti and Ranchi districts during September 2024. These events, which included football and hockey matches, aimed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline in line with Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.
Held in villages such as Geswe, Burmu, Gutigara, Murhu, Khunti, Tati, Angara, Etachildri, and Bero on various dates, the tournaments attracted significant participation from local communities and received support from respected individuals in the region.
A total of 60 teams competed in these tournaments, showcasing their skills and dedication. Prizes were awarded to recognize the achievements of the participating teams and individuals.
The successful completion of these sports events highlights the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’s commitment to fostering a healthy and active lifestyle among the local population while promoting the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
