Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Gurap conducted a two-day residential youth camp from 3rd July (Evening) to 6th July (Morning), 2026. Twenty-six youths participated in the programme.
The camp featured discourses and interactive sessions on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, delivered by the following speakers:
- “The Great Life of Swami Vivekananda” — Swami Nirantarananda
- “Character Building according to Swami Vivekananda” — Swami Vedatitananda
- “How Swami Vivekananda Helps Us Solve Everyday Problems” — Swami Durganathananda
- “Ways to Control the Mind: According to the Ideals of Swami Vivekananda” — Swami Vidyamritananda
- “How to Live a Pure Life” — Swami Shaktishananda
- “Swami Vivekananda’s Message of Self-Confidence” — Br. Harishachaitanya
- “Swami Vivekananda’s Love for His Motherland” — Srijan Mukherjee
The camp followed a structured daily routine comprising Mangalarati (morning prayers), Vedic Chanting, Guided Meditation, value-oriented classes, physical exercise, interactive sessions, songs, recitations, self-reading, and a cleanliness drive in the village adjacent to the Ashrama.
The deliberations and interactions among the speakers and participants left a lasting impression on all those who attended.
