As part of the Durga Puja celebration, new sarees along with sweet packets were distributed by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol to selected poor and needy mothers from 30 nearby villages—including Kalyanpur, Govindapur, Panchagachia, Chandrachur, Garui, Palashdiha, and Sitla—in front of the New Temple premises on Sunday, 21 September 2025.
A total of 2,792 new sarees with sweet packets were provided to the beneficiaries.
The programme was graced by the presence of Sri Amarendranath Chatterjee (Chairman, AMC), Advocate Tapan Chatterjee (President, RKMA Managing Committee, Asansol), and other dignitaries.
