Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, hosted the 25th foundation day (Silver Jubilee anniversary) celebration of the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence (VIHE) on September 10, 2024, on its campus. Revered Swami Suhitananda ji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, blessed the occasion. Sri Jishnu Dev Varma, the Honorable Governor of Telangana, visited the Math and served as the Chief Guest. Sri Sharad Vivek Sagar, an initiated devotee, founder, and CEO of Dexterity Global, delivered an inspiring address on Swami Vivekananda’s leadership qualities that young people should emulate and how VIHE plays a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality.
To commemorate this historic occasion, a grand youth convention was organized. Approximately 1,200 young people from various professional and undergraduate colleges in and around Hyderabad participated in the inspiring sessions. The students of VIHE presented three cultural programs that were highly appreciated by the guests and the young audience. Every participant was served a sumptuous lunch, presented with Swami Vivekananda’s book, and awarded a participation certificate.
