Ramakrishna Mission, Chandigarh, organized a Spiritual Retreat on Sunday, September 21, 2025, which was attended by approximately 200 devotees. The program ran from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and established a deeply meditative atmosphere. The session began with traditional spiritual practices including Japam, Vedic Mantra & Stotra Path, and silent Meditation. This was followed by readings from Sri Ramakrishna Vachanamrit and a ceremonial chanting of the Sri Ramakrishna Ashtottara Nama, accompanied by the offering of 108 bilva leaves.
The latter part of the retreat included devotional bhajans and inspiring speeches delivered by visiting monks, Swami Vinirmuktananda (Srinagar) and Swami Bhitiharananda. Their discourses provided spiritual guidance and reinforced the teachings of the Mission. The successful half-day retreat concluded with the Bhoga-arati, after which cooked Prasad (sanctified food) was distributed to all 200 devotees who participated in the program.
