A spiritual retreat (Bhakta Sammelan) was organized at Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, on Sunday, 19 April 2026. The proceedings commenced at 4:00 PM in the Temple with the chanting of Vedic prayers and an opening devotional song. This was followed by a solemn session of Bhagavad Gita chanting, in which the assembled devotees participated.
During the session, three devotees presented readings from the sacred literature of the Ramakrishna Order, including selected passages from the Sri Ramakrishna Lilaprasanga (Sri Ramakrishna the Great Master), the life and teachings of Sri Sarada Devi, and the inspiring works of Swami Vivekananda.
Following the scriptural readings, insightful discourses were delivered in Malayalam. Swami Tatpurushananda, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Kayamkulam, addressed the gathering, sharing profound spiritual insights. This was followed by a talk delivered by a devotee, Sri Kunhiraman, who reflected on the spiritual ideals of the Holy Trio.
The retreat concluded with a closing devotional song, after which snacks prasad was distributed to all attendees.
