Sri Sri Annapurna Devi was worshipped in her clay image at Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi from 8 April 2022 Friday to 10 April 2022 Sunday. After the evening Arati of Sri Sri Thakur on April 8th the divine mother’s ‘Adhivas’ was performed. The next day started with the ‘Worship’ of the divine mother followed by ‘Anna-bhoga’, ‘Anna-Kut Yatra’ & ‘Homa’. After ‘Bhaktipurna-Pushpanjali’s’ offered by the devotees ‘Anna Prasad’ was distributed to about 3500 devotees. In evening, after of Sri Sri Thakur’s ‘Arati’, ‘Sandhya Arati’ of the divine mother was performed followed by a ‘Bhajananjali’ of devotional songs and spiritual discourse on the significance of Sri Sri Annapurna Puja by ‘Swami Shastrajnananda’. After ‘Arati’, prasad was again distributed in hand among 1500 devotees. Sri Suren Fokon Hon’ble MLA of Digboi & Sri Palash Ahom SDO Civil, Margherita Assam was also present on the occasion.
