Ramakrishna Math, Math Chandipur, celebrated the sacred Sri Sri Annapurna Puja from 25 to 27 March 2026 with profound solemnity and joy. The Divine Mother was worshipped in a traditional clay image, and the festivities included special worship of Sri Ramakrishna, Mangala Arati, Vedic chanting, Homa, and Pushpanjali. A massive gathering of over 18,000 devotees and well-wishers attended the puja to seek the blessings of the Universal Mother.
The highlight of the Seva was the distribution of Anna Prasad to approximately 14,500 devotees, alongside a Sadhu Bhandara organized for 39 monks. The spiritual atmosphere was further enriched by performances of Kirtan, Geeti Alekhya, and Kali Kirtan by monastics and renowned artists. Notably, students from the Ashrama’s Free Coaching Centre staged a devotional drama titled ‘Adyashakti Matrimurti’. The celebrations concluded on the final day with Dadhikarma and the sprinkling of ‘Shanti Jal’ upon the gathered devotees.
