Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Taki started Cyclone relief services to aid families affected by the cyclone Amphan, on 20 May 2020.
The centre distributed cooked food- khichuri to people of water-logged villages Purbapara, Benepota, Uttar Sulkuni, Ashrama para of Sulkuni Island under Hasnabad Subdivision of North 24 Parganas. Till 28 May 2020, the centre has distributed khichuri to 5287 affected people of 305 families.
