Day 1: Swamiji’s Tithi Puja and Cultural Delights
The festivities commenced with Swamiji’s Tithi Puja, commemorating his birth anniversary, on February 2nd. Over 6,600 devotees from Gourhati and neighbouring villages gathered for afternoon prasad, sharing the spirit of community and devotion. The evening witnessed a captivating performance of devotional songs and Nritya-Nattya by students of Gadadhar Abhuyudaya Prakalpa, adding a touch of artistic expression to the celebrations.
Day 2: Empowering Youth Through Convention
On February 3rd, the focus shifted to youth empowerment with a dedicated Youth Convention. Around 539 students and 25 teachers from 17 different schools participated, engaging in meaningful discussions and activities. This convention served as a platform for fostering spiritual values and leadership qualities among the younger generation.
Day 3: Devotee Convention and Cultural Extravaganza
The final day, February 4th, saw a Devotee Convention gathering around 595 devotees and admirers. This congregation provided an opportunity for spiritual discourse, strengthening the bond within the community. The evening concluded with a delightful cultural program featuring a captivating Jatrapala presentation, “Bidrohi Bhagaban,” by Sri Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Nimpith, and melodious Baul songs.
