Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, organized a serene three-day spiritual retreat in the Bengali language from 21st to 23rd March 2026. The retreat was specifically requested by a group of Bengali devotees residing in Chennai seeking spiritual enrichment in their native tongue.
Program Highlights
The retreat commenced each day with Vedic prayers and guided meditation, followed by:
- Devotional Music: Soul-stirring bhajans and songs rendered by Swami Raghuramananda (Ramakrishna Math, Thrissur).
- Discourses: Insightful talks and interactive Q&A sessions led by Swami Narasimhananda (Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Seva Ashrama, Kozhikode) and Swami Raghuramananda.
- Spiritual Visit: As part of the program, the participants were taken to the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Ashrama, Kozhikode, for further spiritual immersion.
Attendance & Participation
While the retreat was primarily for the 25 visiting devotees from Chennai, it also drew significant interest from the local community.
- Daily Attendance: Approximately 70 devotees and volunteers participated each day.
- Annadan: All attendees partook of the prasad served daily at the Math premises. meaningful platform for the local devotee community to gather and rejuvenate their spiritual ideals.
