On the occasion of the commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Address at the Parliament of Religions (1893), Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere, organised Chicago Speech Competitions for high school and PU college students.
A total of 435 students participated in the competitions with great enthusiasm and preparation. Out of them, 114 students were honoured with cash prizes and books on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The programme concluded with the distribution of snacks to all participants, marking a joyful end to the day’s inspiring events.
