Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur conducted a series of value education programmes, motivational sessions, and teachers’ training camps from 8th July to 24th July, 2026, anchored in the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
8th July, 2026 — Vivekananda Empowerment Centre, Thanjavur: An interactive session was held for 80 Class 5 students of Little Scholar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur. The programme featured devotional bhajans, value-based videos, and team activities. Swami Vimurtananda led an introspective session, and students took a pledge to practise responsibility, and to respect their parents and teachers.
9th July, 2026 — Vivekananda Empowerment Centre, Thanjavur: A Value Education Training Camp was conducted for 82 Class 4 students of Little Scholar Matriculation School, focused on instilling foundational moral principles.
10th July, 2026 — Tiruppur: Five sessions were conducted across three schools, reaching thousands of students:
- Vidya Vikashini Matriculation Hr. Sec. School — 1,200 students (Session 1) and 180 students (Session 2)
- Vigneshwara Matriculation Hr. Sec. School — 100 students
- Sakthi Vigneshwara Matriculation Hr. Sec. School — 400 students and 65 teachers
Swami Vimurtananda addressed all gatherings, emphasising Swami Vivekananda’s vision of education as a tool for character-building and life-transformation.
11th July, 2026 — Swami Vivekananda Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Koduvai, Tiruppur: The concluding day featured two sessions. In the morning, Swami Vimurtananda and Dr. Mohanapriya co-conducted a Teachers’ Rejuvenation Workshop for the teaching faculty. In the afternoon, a motivational camp was held for Class 10 and 12 students, focusing on goal-oriented study habits, concentration, and disciplined effort.
15th July, 2026 — Thirubhuvanam: Swami Vimurtananda delivered the benedictory address at an Education Development Day celebration organised by JKVS Trust in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, commemorating the birth anniversary of Karmaveerar K. Kamaraj. 60 persons attended.
23rd July, 2026 — Nagapattinam: Swami Vimurtananda addressed Class 12 students at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Nagapattinam (75 students), and later spoke at A.D.M. Women’s College on the powers of the human mind as emphasised by Swami Vivekananda and the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna (75 participants). A total of 150 persons attended across both sessions.
24th July, 2026 — Vivekananda Empowerment Centre, Thanjavur: 89 students of Kamala Subramaniam Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur participated in a special value education and physical and mental well-being session. The students took a pledge to become responsible at school and disciplined and well-mannered at home.
